The End of Harry Potter

J.K. Rowling hints at the death of two characters in the seventh and last book of the Harry Potter series. And one of them might even be Harry himself! First Sirius, then Dumbledore and now this!

"A price has to be paid. We are dealing with pure evil here. They don't target extras do they? They go for the main characters. Well, I do."

And she ends with - "I don't think I'm ever going to have anything like Harry again. You just get one like Harry."

Well then, why kill him off?

‘Harry should kill Voldemort without getting hurt himself. If Rowling has to kill someone, she should perhaps kill Lupin or Hagrid. But definitely not Harry.’

‘Keeping in mind Dumbledore’s words that if you save somebody’s life, that person remains indebted to you. I feel Wormtail who was rescued by Harry should be the one to come to Harry’s aid when he is facing death.’
